OutPost is an outreach that grew out of the NEWBS and is also an interdenominational ministry.  It originated in 1988 by Pat Jones who added a beautiful great room to her home with the idea of "build it and they will come." Come, they did. She wanted to meet the need for fellowship during the summer when the Bible studies were on break. Pat enlisted the help of her NEWBS friends to prepare food, beverages, and serve as hostesses.  The format included fellowship, live music, scripture readings, and a message of hope and encouragement of God's grace in a fun and loving atmosphere. Pat is now with the Lord, but OutPost continues in Cincinnati.
